On November 30, 2019 at 8 p.m. in Kino Krokodil, Berlin, we present the prize-winning feature film "Fuga" ("Fugue") from the 2019 Neisse Film Festival.
After experiencing memory loss, Alicja has built up a completely new life. The past does not interest her. After being recognized in a television talk show, however, she returns to her life as wife, mother and daughter. But it does not work. Her husband and son do not recognize this woman who behaves like a stranger. And rebellion grows within her, rebellion against a role that perhaps had actually never fit her. Numerous awards have been granted this drama which poses universal questions around identity and expectations.
